Types of Cyprus Visit Visas

Single-Entry Visa

Allows one-time entry into Cyprus for tourism, meetings, or personal visits.
Duration: Maximum 90 days in a 6-month period.

Multiple-Entry Visa

Ideal for business travelers or frequent visitors. This visa permits several entries into Cyprus over a longer duration.
Valid for: Up to 1 year (in exceptional cases, up to 5 years).

Note: Regardless of multiple entries, the total stay must not exceed 90 days in any 180-day period.

Cyprus Visit Visa Requirements

Applicants must submit a complete application package in person. However, if residing more than 200 miles (300 km) from the nearest Cyprus Consulate, the application can be sent via recorded delivery along with a registered return envelope for the safe return of documents.

Required documents include:

• Completed Visa Application Form, signed by the applicant (or legal guardian if a minor)

• Two recent passport-sized photographs

• Valid national passport (valid at least 3 months beyond intended stay; 6 months is recommended)

• Valid visa or residency proof for the country of application

• Confirmed round-trip flight itinerary (do not purchase tickets before visa approval)

• Confirmed hotel reservation or invitation letter from friends/family in Cyprus

• Letter of invitation from a Cyprus-based company (for business visits)

• Proof of financial means, such as bank statements or traveler’s cheques (credit cards must be supported by a recent statement showing credit limit)

• Employment letter stating position and salary (self-employed applicants must submit a letter from their lawyer, accountant, or bank)

• Students must provide a recent letter from their educational institution confirming enrollment and course duration

• Assumption of Responsibility form (if visiting friends/family, may be required from the host in Cyprus)

Visa Processing & Validity

• Visa processing time typically takes 10–15 working days after application submission.

• Applications must be submitted at the Cyprus Embassy or Consulate in the applicant’s country of residence.

• Ensure all documents are translated into English, if not originally in English.
