Requirements for China Visit (L) Visa

1. Valid Passport

   • At least 6 months validity from the date of application.

   • At least one blank visa page.

2. Visa Application Form (Form V.2013)

   • Completed and signed.

   • Must include truthful and complete information.

3. Recent Passport-Sized Photograph

   • White background, no hats or head coverings (unless for religious reasons).

   • Must match China visa photo guidelines.

4. Proof of Travel

   • Round-trip flight tickets.

   • Hotel booking confirmation or invitation letter from a host in China.

5. Invitation Letter (if visiting friends/family)

   • Must include:

     • Inviter’s full name, address, phone number, and ID (copy of Chinese ID or residence permit if foreign national).

     • Applicant’s details and visit itinerary.

6. Travel Itinerary

   • A document outlining your travel plan, cities to be visited, and expected duration.

Processing Time

• Standard: 4–7 working days

• Express/Rush: 2–3 working days (available in some countries, extra charges apply)

Visa Validity & Duration

• Single-entry, double-entry, or multiple-entry (up to 10 years for some nationalities like the US).

• Each stay: usually 30 to 60 days per entry.

• Validity ranges from 3 months to 10 years, depending on nationality and consulate discretion.

Visa Fee (Varies by Nationality)

• For Pakistani applicants: ranges between RMB 9,000–13,000 PKR depending on processing time and number of entries.

• For U.S. citizens: $140 USD (flat rate for 10-year multiple entry).

Additional Notes

• L Visa holders cannot work or study in China.

• Overstaying can result in fines, deportation, or bans.
